November update. Stardate: 93442.97
So we’ve slipped idly into November, a month everyone enjoys. We get to burn effigies of valiant anti-establishment figures, watch stuff blow stuff up in the sky, and get to constantly try and calculate how cold we can get without putting the heating on. All in all, a month of wonder and spectacle. On top of all this good stuff, Rye wax has a load of cool news to spray all over your face. Hope your face is ready.
FOURPURE BEER IS HERE!
If you’ve made it down to the shop, you’ll know that we have been a bottle & cocktail bar since we opened. We really don’t mind bottles, they’re good for sending messages, playing in skiffle bands and of course, GBH. But for us, nothing beats the taste of a freshly poured pint. We’ve been itching to get pumps in the shop, and once we met the guys from Fourpure, the brewery fresh out of Bermondsey, we knew we’d found the right booze-merchants to partner with. For now, we’ve got a range of cans in-store to introduce you to their excellent booze.
There’s the PILS, their take on the classic Germanic decision-impairing liquid. Dry, Crisp and refreshing – like new socks or a Stewart Lee show. If throwing pils down your neck isn’t for you but you’re still up for a mad one, we have the SESSION IPA, a hoppy but easy to drink beer designed specifically for SESSIONS. Yep, they’ve finally cracked it. No more 7am Dragon Stout / K Cider / White Ace runs. Finally, we have the Pale Ale – a classic interpretation of the California style; bright, citrusy and tropical. More Malibu Beach than Burning man, we’d say.
Like we said, the pumps are going to be installed imminently, so keep your eyes peeled for updates. Until then, Happy Hour is still 6-8pm daily, and the cans are ready for you to whet your whistle.

Oi mate, not gonna lie, If you come to any night down in Rye Wax this month, you’re in for a treat. We’ve got some OG’s, some young blood and some heavyweight selectors pretty much every weekend this month.
