RYE WAX UPDATE [BIG-ASS SALE EDITION]

Whelp, its been a while since this page saw any love. The last update was made in a simpler time indeed, Petrol cost £14 a litre and the only time someone used the words “Pig” and “Head” together was either to insult little Timmy on the playground or by Heston Blumenthal ordering a fry up. And with all that’s come between then and now, could you blame us for not finding the time to update this page more? IS NOT A CRIME

Well now we’ve officially reached the age of ONE. No we didn’t invite you to the party because there wasn’t one. No one remembers their first birthday so why should an inanimate basement be any different? What do you buy a shop for its birthday anyway? NOTHING. You should probably give the shop the gift of patronage, to stroke its ego enough until it forgets that it’s not grade listed yet. After that, maybe clearing some space would probably make it feel all svelte and sassy.

With that in mind, we spent considerable minutes discussing what the best way to tick both these boxes and what we came up with may shock you.

We’re having a sale. A sale of ridiculous magnitude. In which we will be selling such barnstorming hits as “Asda - three Tracks”, “Various - All Pt” and “x : x - x : x”!

There is a list of over 300 12” records that we have reduced by:

20% - 40%

That’s right, all of your favourite obscure cuts and crowd favourites are being reduced by 20 to 40%. That’s 20 to 40% less guilt you’ll feel when you pat your wallet. That’s 20 to 40% more time you can spend on scheming discogs up-sells, you sneaky bastards, you (not you though – you’re alright).

We will have a 300-strong list of dope titles on a print out that you can check like a football sticker book. It’ll get updated as the sale goes on. Remember, some of these beauties won’t be coming back any time soon so once they’ve gone – they’ve gone.

You’ll be seeing Rye Wax branded propaganda passed out through the usual channels. Until then, just know the sale will run from the 6th - 20th of October.
